1. Alexander T Pushnin, Russia, b.1921, Winter farm scene with chickens, oil on board, 21" x 26", signed. 500-700

Pushnin studied at the Repin Institute and the Leningrad Art School. He exhibited at major shows in Moscow in the 1950s, and his work is included in Matthew Bown's "Dictionary of Russian and Soviet Era Painters."

2. Semen Natanovich Guetski, Russia, 1902-1974, Ballerinas on stage, oil on board, 17" x 25", signed. 400-600

Guetski studied at the Kiev Art Institute, and worked primarily in the Ukraine. He was also an animated film artist.

3. Lucio Rossi, New York and Italy, 1846-1913, Lady in full gown, watercolor, 15" x 9", signed 500-700

Lucius or Lucio Rossi was a well-listed painter and illustrator. Born in Rome, studied at the Academy of San Lucca, died in Paris.

28. Finely carved German wood standing frame, open scrolling, stippled backgrounds. One side has carved leaves and stems, dated 1905, framing an old military portrait photo. Reverse has finely carved words with scroll accents and dated 1903, framing a mirror.
