92. Walter Sydney Stacey, England, 1846-1929, Woman feeding chickens at Trewoofe, 1911, oil on chamfered panel, 20" x 16", signed, dated, "Trewoofe" written on back. (800-1,200)

Stacey was a painter of landscapes, genre, royalty & animals. Trewoofe is a historic farm in Cornwall on the garden tour, and a popular subject matter.

An accomplished painter of Native Americans, Casnelli is also known for his landscapes and Mediterranean scenes. William Howard Taft commissioned Casenelli to paint murals in his home.

110. Carl Zimmerman, Cincinnati, 1900-1985, Augusta KY scene, oil on board, 20" x 24", signed. (500-700)

Zimmerman was well known in Cincinnati as a painter, muralist and teacher. He studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, and at the Cincinnati Art Academy under Reginald Grooms, John Weis, and Herman Wessel.

111. Ross Stefan, Tucson AZ, 1934-1999, Arizona landscape, oil on canvas, 18" x 24", signed, good western frame. (1,500-2,000)

Stefan had his first one-man show at age 13, and established himself as a well sought after painter of Western landscape and Native Americans.

Semen Guetski studied at the Kiev Art Institute from 1922-1929 and began exhibiting in 1937. He worked primarily in Kiev as both a painter and an animated film artist. Ballerinas were a favorite subject of his.
