Schubert studied in Berlin, and was a painter of landscapes and genre.

333. Frances Wiley Faig, Cincinnati, 1885-1955, Portrait of a boy, oil on canvas, 14" x 12", signed. (300-500)

Faig was a student of Frank Duveneck and Charles Hawthorne. She painted murals in Cincinnati in the UC Engineering library, Cincinnati Women's Club, and in Hartwell and Western Hills high schools. She was a member of the Cincinnati Women's Art Club, Southern States Art League, and the McDowell Society.

Coast studied in Paris & Rome w/Thomas Hicks, Faller & Yewell. He spent most of his career in New York City, and his later life in California. He was in the Salmagundi Club.

340. "The Dali Alice": Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Maecenas Press-Random House, New York, 1969. Twelve illustrations w/original woodcuts & an original etching by Salvador Dali, #1861 in limited printing of 2500 on Mandeure paper, signed on title page by Dali. Pages loose as issued in publisher's gilt brown cloth portfolio, in original clamshell case w/leather straps & ivory clasps, 17" x 11", like new condition. (1,500-2,500)

341. Petterson Studio hand blown etched vase w/hand hammered sterling base, marked PTS, mint. John Pontus Petterson worked for Tiffany for several years before opening his own studio in Chicago around 1912. (350-550)
