Born in Milwaukee, Ned Mueller lived and worked in several western states. He studied at the Art Center of Design in Los Angeles, and worked as an illustrator for twenty-five years including work with Disney.

Fletcher has won numerous awards including the International Artist Magazine still life competition, "Objects of Delight," and the Founders Award at the Plein Air New Mexico Invitational. He has been featured in Southwest Art Magazine, and is a member of the American Impressionist Society.

Royal Vienna hand painted porcelain lidded and bolted urn, cartouche decoration of Virgil with goddess in landscape, cobalt vase with finely painted acanthus leaves with white moriage dot accents, reticulated neck. Marks to base include blue beehive with three interior lines, with Austria and Virgil und der [illegible] in black script. 10.25"h x 4"w, line to lid, paint flake at neck. 600-800

Pair of Sevres hand painted porcelain cache urns, diagonal floral decorations on white between gold linear and scrolling decorations on pale blue, base and top interior edges decorated with continuous gold intertwining of parallel red lines, gilt bronze rim to base with three acanthus feet. Blue ink interlaced L's mark to base with H to center and R below. 5"h x 4.5"d. Excellent condition. 300-400
23. Bronze and cloisonne enamel four-piece desk set, decorated with blossoms, leaves and acanthus, probably French. Inkwell on three-footed stand, 2.25"h x 4"d. Two-handled pen tray, 6" x 1.5". Candle stand, 4.5". Three-footed tray with onyx interior, 2"h x 5.25"d. Unmarked, some replaced screws and loose joints. 300-400
24. Austrian hand painted enamel over 800 silver compote, six courting couple scenes connected by garden landscapes, acanthus and trellis work, clothing is highlighted with metallic flecks, two lizard-on-branch handles with curling tails, four fancy acanthus feet, body of compote has raised orbs and gadrooned sides. Impressed LP for Ludwig Pollitzer, also impressed A. 3.5"h x 9.5"w x 3.25"d. Restoration where compote meets base, one bent foot, inpainting to approximately 25% of surface. 3,500-4,500
25. Hand painted Austrian enamel over 800 silver vase, two oval decorations depicting the discovery of Moses, and on the other a public square with Roman soldier and lady making an offering, fully decorated in between with cherubs, urns and acanthus leaves, silver rim and base have chased decorations, base and rim impressed LP for Ludwig Pollitzer, also impressed A. 4.5"h x 2.25"d. Rim and base are bent, restoration to loss of enamel inside neck and underneath rim, minor crackelure and small chip. 1,500-2,500
26. Royal Vienna hand painted porcelain bolted urn, full band of landscape painting with two classical Greek scenes, blood red backgrounds with custard yellow bands both finely decorated with gold leaves and vines with gray moriage dots, figural handles of faces with high headdresses in gold paint. Marks to base include blue beehive and two script scene captions, Hector Paris and Helena, and Apfernde Nimphen. 10"h x 4.5"w. Small dent at Paris' knee. 400-600
27. 19th century hand painted Limoges pitcher, fully decorated with grape clusters in four different shades on brown stems and green leaves, gold decorated handle and rim, signed Nell Holle to base and side, base ink stamped J. P. L. FRANCE for Jean Pouyat, potter from 1842-1898, 15", gold wear, excellent condition. 250-350

Hand painted Limoges footed oval center bowl, fully decorated with pink and yellow blossoms with green leaves, pink interior, gold painted split-acanthus leaf handles, gold decoration to rim and foot, base signed Nell Holle 32, otherwise unmarked, 6.75"h x 16.5"w x 9"d, chip to one handle. 200-250

Large four-piece Doulton Burslem tureen with lid, ladle and underplate, polychrome decoration of people and peacocks in medallions linked by acanthus scrolls and blossoms, two molded acanthus handles to tureen match finial of lid and handle of ladle. Marked with crown, Doulton Burslem, England, Florence, Rd No 139893. Tureen is 8"h x 14"w x 8"d, underplate 14" x 10.25", 12" ladle, excellent condition. 200-300
31. J&G Meakin English flow blue stoneware coffee pot, decorated with blue blossoms and acanthus scrolls with molded acanthus scrolls to body and handle, acorn finial, marked J&G Meakin England, 10"h x 9"w x 4.5"d, very good condition. 150-250

Portable liquor cabinet, ebony veneer exterior with string inlaid brass, inlaid brass cartouche to top, rosewood veneer interior, handled two-tiered removable caddy holds four etched glass bottles with cut stoppers, holds sixteen cordials. Included are four 3" cordials, etched design of blossoms and leaves matches bottles, and six 3.75" cordials with etched rose vines. Closed box dimensions 9.5"h x 12.25"w x 9.5"d. Condition: tiny chips to bottle rims, box missing escutcheon and has several age cracks and losses. 400-600
