446. Chinese carved ivory chess set in fitted inlaid chest, 20th century. Fully carved figures on round pedestal bases, the two large and fierce kings are distinctly detailed from each other, double-sword wielding queens, clerical bishops, horsemen knights, pagoda rooks, each side with eight unique pawns, sizes range from 5.5" kings to 2" pawns. Hinged case has fitted interior backed by playing surface with inlaid squares, 17.75". Pieces in overall excellent condition, with some losses and repairs to pole arms. Case may not be original to pieces. This item is ivory from the tusk of an elephant and will only be shipped domestically. This item was legally imported into the United States. 300-500

Large Steiff mohair kangaroo with original joey in pocket, two-tone fabric with airbrush details, black stitched nose and claws, glass eyes, mom has jointed arms and neck, mom also has pale purple velvet ear interiors with original Steiff button and yellow ribbon reading Steiff Original 6350 Made in Germany. 17.5"h, mom missing one eye and has small stain to belly, overall excellent condition. 350-400

Duck with feather textured body, signed Hagerty to base, carved bill, swivel head, glass eyes, evidence of old weight to base, appears to be in original paint including green bill, black head, yellow sides, and brown top, 6.5"h x 14" long, repaired split to body. Duck in old red stain with dark accents, swivel head, missing its glass eyes, old weight mounted to base with obscured letters that seem to read Cincinnati, 6.25"h x 16" long, some old splits and chips. 200-400
