318. c.1920 Herschede nine tube mahogany grandfather clock with moon dial, arched top, bun feet, bevelled glass door and sides, free standing columns, original finish, three weights, 81"h x 24"w x 16.5"d. Plays selection of three chimes: Wittington, Westminster, and Canterbury. Face reads A Stowell & Co Boston. Brass tag inside door reads Herschede Hall Clock Co, Cincinnati OH USA, Panama Pacific International Exposition, Grand Prize. Movement completely serviced in 2006, excellent condition. 4,000-5,000

Symphonion Imperial 15 5/8" disc music box, single comb, locking mahogany case with carved trim, pull-knob starter, original litho illustration and celluloid manufacturer's tag to lid, paper label to interior identifies this as model 143, two removable interior boards with sound-holes over the gears, interior plate marked 17212 SYMPHONION MFG CO NY. Case 10"h x 23"w x 20"d, includes eighteen discs. Condition: all teeth intact, discoloration to litho, scratches to case, only two mounting screws to removable interior boards are present. 3,000-5,000

Mid 19th century French boulle mantle clock, turtoise shell veneer inlaid with brass boulle inlaid acanthus, blossoms and urns, fruit basket finial, ormolu mounted ladies and acanthus scrolling, bevelled glass door with wreath border, fancy gilt face with white porcelain apple-shaped numerals in black paint, Phoebus Apollo face-in-sun pendulum. Wafer mark to works reads MEDAILLE DARGENT, VINCENTI & Cie, 1855. 12.5"h x 7.25"w x 4"d. Condition: some loose brass inlay with minimal losses, loss to rear door latch, no key. 500-700
328. c.1900 figural holosteric barometer, classically draped Greek woman with urn to shoulder supporting barometer, zodiac symbols surround barometer face with bevelled glass door, works marked with letters H P B W in circle, 23"h, overall excellent condition, reverse door missing center. 550-650

Ansonia figural mantle clock, red metal "marbleized" painted base with acanthus scrolled feet supports acanthus decorated clock with white porcelain face and black enameled Roman numerals, topped by statue of girl with wheat shock, cold metal in old brown patina with mint green highlights, beveled glass door. Face and works marked Ansonia Clock Co New York USA Trade Mark. 23"h x 11.5"w x 8"d. Key and pendulum present, restoration to wheat shock is weak, two stress lines to girl's right foot, faint lines to clock face. 400-600
465. English liquor making proof set. Fitted velvet lined case with two proof-temperature slide rules, thermometer, measuring rod and weights, ebonized exterior with brass tag and corners. Thermometer marked J. Long 43 Eastcheap London, measuring rod marked Sike's No 5689. Case 2.5"h x 10"w x 4.75"d, missing one weight, case shows some wear. 500-700
